The first Air Max is the Air Max 1 which was designed in 1987 by Tinker Hatfield and Mark Parker, the current CEO of Nike. Air Max 1 create a visual landmark and greatly improve the air cushion and stability. They were inspired by the Pompidou building in Paris. The huge glass wall make the scene seeable at the first time.
The Nike Air Pippen 1 in a White/Dark Grey-Total Orange colorway is available now. The retail price is set to $160 for the sneaker Pippen wore during his years as a Bull. The sneaker features a white leather base with orange hits on the outsole, logo badging, and TPU upper supports. The shoe also sports dark grey on the full length Air Unit and Nike Swoosh.
Some of you may remember the Air Max Nomo from the 90′s. The shoe was MLB pitcher Hideo Nomo’s signature line and it borrowed the sole of the Griffey to help make its statement.
It looks like Nike’s reissue madness has touched down on this model, as we will see several colorways hitting retail shelves again in a few months. This particular version sports a predominantly varsity red upper along with black, white, and yellow accents. They have made they’re way to where they can now be purchased.
